Terms of Use

Your account

• You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
• Provide accurate information, and keep your profile and payment details up to date.
• You must be 18 or older to create a MUVE account. A parent or guardian may add and manage a dependent (a minor) under their own account.
• You can delete your account at any time. Deleting removes your profile and content; some transaction records are retained as required for tax and accounting.

Payments, dues, and refunds

• League dues and fees are set by the organization running that league or game. MUVE charges a transparent service fee, shown as its own line at checkout, plus payment processing.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Organizations receive dues through their own connected payout account, and MUVE acts as the merchant of record for checkout.
• Refunds are handled by the organization according to their stated policy — MUVE never moves money automatically. Contact the organization first; email us if you can't resolve it.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content & abuse

MUVE has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. When you post messages, photos, team or league names, or any other content, or interact with other people on MUVE, you agree that you will not:

• Post or share content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable;
• Bully, harass, stalk, impersonate, or intimidate any other person;
• Post content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or promotes harm;
• Spam, scam, or send unsolicited commercial messages;
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the service you're not authorized to use.

Reporting and blocking

You can report objectionable content or abusive users from a chat, profile, or photo in the app, and you can block a user so they can no longer contact you. We review every report and act on objectionable content by removing it and ejecting the users who post it — typically within 24 hours of a report. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

Safety at games

MUVE is a tool for organizing recreational sports; we don't run the games and aren't responsible for them. Play within your limits, follow the organization's and venue's rules, and sign any waiver required. Sports carry a risk of injury, which you accept when you take part.

Content you post

You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant MUVE a limited license to host and display it so the app can function (for example, showing your message in a team chat or your photo on a game). You’re responsible for the content you post and must have the right to post it.

Disclaimers & liability

MUVE is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, MUVE is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service or from games you find or run through it.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we’ll update the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use MUVE means you accept the updated Terms.
